How to Reduce Stress – Fitness Club
Hello! Everyone!
Have you ever felt tired during your work?
Have you ever found no place you can go?
Do you know there is a nice place for you to relax?
My name is .
I study in PTT and I am an aerobics lover.
The purpose of my talk today is to show you how to help reduce stress.
We will be talking about aerobics, lower rhythmical exercises and other
activities.
This presentation will take about 15 minutes.
After my talk, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me.
I will try my best to answer.

Well, before we go on, we need to explain: What is aerobics?
AEROBIC is one of the most important physical fitness factors. It stems from
Latin and means:
1. AERO = Air = Oxygen
2. BIC = Bio = Life
Aerobics is a form of exercise that is made up of 2 factors:
1. In aerobics you use the same large muscle group(2/3 of the muscles in your
body),
such as back, chest and thighs. Aerobics usually uses your thighs.
2. You follow a rhythm for 15 to 20 minutes while maintaining 60-80% of your
maximum heart rate.
Aerobic activities include: walking, biking, jogging, swimming, aerobic
classes and so on.
Aerobic means with air or oxygen. You should be able to carry on a short
conversation while doing aerobic exercise

Now, let’s move on to my first main point: aerobics
I will be talking about the three main types of aerobics.
Step Aerobics:
It uses an elevated platform (the step), which enables a more vigorous
workout. The intensity of the workout can be tailored to individual taste by
inserting risers under the step to increase the height of the step.
Body Combat:
Body combat is the most intense fun you‘ll have with two feet on the ground.
It borrows from the martial arts. Body combat provides a unique combination
of flexibility, strength, endurance, and cardio-vascular exercise with the
added benefit of giving you self-defense skills. It is a high-energy activity
where the body and the mind must work as one.
Latin Aerobics:
Latin aerobics is combined with samba, cha-cha, mambo and so on of the South
America dynamic dancing step. You use strong rhythm by twisting waist, you
shaking shoulders… to improve your heart-lung function, training your
muscles and become flexible.

Next, we will be looking about my second point: lower rhythmical exercises
Here we have three main types of lower rhythmical exercises.
Yoga:
Yoga is an old discipline from India. Yoga uses breathing techniques,
exercise and meditation. It improves health, happiness and mind-power.
Body Balance:
Body Balance is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility
and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing,
concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses
to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of
harmony and balance.
Body Pump:
Body Pump is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body.
This 60-minute workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the
best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. Great
music, awesome instructors and your choice of weight inspire you to get the
results you came for – and fast!

Finally, let’s move on to our last point: other activities.
There are a lot of things you can do in the Fitness Club. Besides those
courses which we just mentioned above. They have SPA, an oven, herb pool and
so on. That’s very good after you spend lots energy and it can refresh your
body.
Also, there are so many different equipment for you to workout. You can
choose the equipment depend on your needed. For examples, use Treadmills to
improve your thigh, choose different courses to make it more interesting.
Chess Press to enhance your chest.
If you have special needs, you can select PT --- Personal Training. A
personal trainer is a professional who educates people about physical
fitness. Personal trainers typically work with clients to improve body
composition (weight loss or muscle gain). They may also be hired for more
specific goals, such as
an increase in strength, muscular endurance or even hip-hop.

All of them are very interesting and help you stay healthy.
By focusing on the courses and equipment, you are relaxed.
Take me as an example. During the work time I have more energy on my job.
I work very hard so I can have time to attend those courses.
After that, I sleep well, get extra energy and I am healthy.
