Gunners boss optimistic ahead of new season

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists the Gunners will improve on their
third-place league finish of last season.
Arsenal 球隊經理 Arsene Wenger (教授)堅信，槍手會從上賽季第三名往前、持續進步。

The North Londoners were in the mix for a Premier League title challenge for
the duration of the 2009/10 campaign until they fell by the wayside late on.
這群北倫敦的球隊，曾在 2009/10 賽事期間成為英超冠軍的大熱門之一，卻在末段賽程
一蹶不振。

Another trophyless season last term means Arsenal have still not won a major
piece of silverware since 2005.
再次經歷無冠的賽季，意味著自2005年以來，Arsenal 依然未曾贏下冠軍。

But Wenger believes that despite the injection of cash at Manchester City,
his methods of management will benefit the Emirates outfit.
但 教授 認為，儘管 ManCity 獲得大量現金的挹注，他管理的方式仍使 Emirates 球團
獲益。

"I am very confident (we'll do better than last season)," Wenger told the
club's official website.

"We know in England that the Premier League is the biggest league in the
world and everybody invests a lot of money.
『我們都知道，英超是世界上最大的球會聯盟，很多人也投資許多錢在其中。』

"We invest in our work, in our beliefs, in the quality of our behaviour and I
am confident that will pay off.

"We finished third last year and we hope we can improve on that - but the
race will be tough."
『上賽季我們拿下第三名，我希望在新賽季我們表現會更好，當然，賽程也更艱辛。』

Arsenal continue their pre-season preparations on Saturday when they take on
AC Milanin the Emirates Cup.
Arsenal 於週六繼續槍手們的季前賽事，並會在 Emirates Cup 遇上 AC Milan。
