那我們來談談養生跟文化:
養生:有部分研究認為太極拳對於某些老年或特定疾病的平衡功能訓練有幫助,
這部分主要是因為(公園)太極拳是一種緩慢改變重心的運動,確實可能對復健有幫助。
近年來對於多發性硬化症等,也有人將病患掛於吊帶上,練習kickboxing打靶的模式
宣稱比太極拳更能(在學理上)應付快速的重心變化。其他的武術運動研究相對較少。

不過目前沒有甚麼證據說練中國武術會讓你老年的時候整體比較健康或比較久,
幾乎沒有甚麼一般能打的武術號稱自己比較養生。原理上來說,現代化的科學訓練
能夠上心肺能力和肌力的流失較慢,老了比較不容易骨質疏鬆、心肺功能差導致活動減退
進而引發其他疾病、肌肉量和胰島素抗性常常也會有關。
中國武術比較養生整體而言就是一種神話,雖然有些練中國武術的醫師也會這樣被洗腦。
格鬥運動導致的傷害,是來自於頻繁接觸性、高衝擊性,而這些本來就是格鬥運動的
本質,除非你能想出避免這些競賽、接觸,又同時能夠達到「能打」的方式。
如果中國武術的練法加上一樣的競技模式,絕對不會有比較少累積性的運動傷害。
除非,你想談的是科學結果無法觀測的妖術。甚麼山上的大師活很久之類的。
想想看,要是一門「武」術,靠的是宣稱比別人更能打、同時卻盡量避開任何接觸性的
競技或練習模式,並宣稱自己的賣點是養生,是多有趣的一件事。
養生就養生,其實也沒有礙著誰。拳擊有氧不會宣稱自己是一門格鬥,但......
不騙人、和練習的人說清楚自己在教的是甚麼、對方可以從中獲得什麼,才是人格。
