Villa is confident Barca can prevail over the course of the two-legged tie,
booking their place in the quarter-finals, but believes they should have made
more of the opportunities and possession which came their way in London.
He said: "They [Arsenal] are a very good team. They've caught us on two
counter-attacks and caused us a lot of damage. We were better, but they hurt
us on the counter.
Advantage
"We didn't deserve this result. The scoreline, when we were 1-0 up, should
have been bigger looking at the chances we had. But Arsenal are a great team
and took advantage of their opportunity.
"[But] we have a team to get through. We will be ready for the day."
Barca keeper Victor Valdes, who was beaten twice late on by Robin van Persie
and Andrey Arshavin, is also confident that Pep Guardiola's side can turn
things around on home soil.
He said: "We had the game under control, but they took advantage of their
chances well.
"There's still the second leg and we have faith that things will turn out in
our favour. It's possible in our stadium. We are confident that it will all
work out for us."

Xavi said: "It was a shame because, during the game, we felt much superior to
Arsenal.
"It was worse than last year because we actually lost. We played good
football."
Barca could have wrapped up a quarter-final spot had World Player of the Year
Lionel Messi taken his chances.
Xavi added: "We could have killed off the tie but we lacked the finishing
touch.
"They took full advantage of their weapons. Nevertheless we were superior
without taking advantage of our endless chances.
"In the end you pay the price. The result is so unfair but we are confident
at the Nou Camp and, although we have to respect Arsenal a lot, we are
optimistic."

Xavi, the Barcelona midfielder maintained that his side were superior. "I
thought we had a fantastic attitude, we played very well and we were true to
our personality," he said.
"It wasn't to be but there is time to turn it round. Because of their goals,
they will feel happier than us but I think we were much [the] better [team]."
