Q: How do you see your future?

A: I'm waiting for news, and there's nothing else I can do. The club knows what
I want. The president said he'd sell one of the two [referring to himself and
Tristan], and he only has received offers for me. So, I hope that everything is
sorted out soon.

Q: What offer do you prefer?

A: The most serious offers are Valancia's and Bayern's. I think that if you can
play at one of the biggest European clubs, alongside Real Madrid, I wouldn't
like this opportunity to pass by. I want to grow professionally.

Q: Also, you have demonstrated you felt Deportivo's colours. So, you don't want
to reinforce a direct rival as Valencia?

A: In that sense I don't care. Bayern is together with Real Madrid one of the
two biggest in Europe, and it's fighting to win the Champions League. That's
why it'd nice to go there. Furthermore, it's true that it's a more interesting
option for Depor, because this way you don't reinforce a direct rival in the
Liga.

Q: Once the clubs reach an agreement, will all be done or do they still have
to negotiate with you?

A: I haven't talked with anyone yet, because I've always said that the clubs
must first reach an agreement. Until then, I'll say nothing. Anyway, I believe
that there'll be no problem in solving my personal issues.

Q: It is logical to think that the Golden Boot title helps in order to
improve your contract...

A: In order to improve my contract at Deportivo you don't need too much, it's
very easy. That's why I had so many problems with the president. One thing is
true, Depor has grown a lot during these last years. But if I can keep on
climbing to get to the top, why shouldn't I?

Q: Are you disappointed by the fact that there has been no agreement with any
English club?

A: Not at all. I've always said that I wanted to play in England, but I can't
complain, because two of the best Spanish teams and one of the best of Europe
have shown an interest in me. What else can I ask for!

Q: Why there was no agreement with Manchester United?

A: Because the Manchester issue were no more than rumours. My representative
has a very good relation with them, and they never showed any interest.
