Sky Sports News understands Sol Campbell is to undergo a medical at Newcastle
United ahead of joining the Premier League new boys.
據《天空體育報》所知，Sol Campbell 正進行於 Newcastle 的體檢，準備加入剛返回
英超的球隊。
Campbell is currently searching for a new club after his short-term contract
at Arsenal expired at the end of last season.
Campbell 目前在尋找新球會，在上賽季履行完於 Arsenal 的短期合同之後。
He has held talks with both Celtic and Sunderland, but the 35-year-old now
appears poised to link up with Newcastle.
他曾與 Celtic 和 Sunderland 會晤，但現在顯示他與 Newcastle 更近一步的關係。
The centre-half is due to be put through a medical on Tuesday and, providing
there are no major problems, he is expected to sign a contract within 24
hours.
這名中後衛由於進行體檢，確認無大礙之後，可能會在 24小時內簽下合同。
Magpies boss Chris Hughton knows Campbell from his time at Tottenham Hotspur
and has previously been non-committal on his interest in the former England
international.
喜鵲(Newcastle) 教練 Chris Hughton 了解 Campbell 過去在 Tottenham Hotspur 的
經歷，且先前也未曾表態對這名英格蘭籍球員感興趣。
However, it now appears that Hughton is ready to add Campbell's experience to
his squad as he seeks to establish Newcastle back in the top flight.
無論如何，現在顯示 Hughton 準備藉由 Campbell 的經驗來加強陣容，如同他當初尋找
球員並建立起頂尖的 Newcastle 後防。
Hughton has so far snapped up James Perch and Dan Gosling over the summer and
the capture of Campbell will be a welcome boost for the club.
Hughton 已於今夏搶下 James Perch、Dan Gosling，現在又添加 Campbell 無疑地給
俱樂部更多的歡呼。
