He's from the city and popular among the supporters: Dani Mallo, supposed to
become the first goalkeeper of Deportivo within some years. But as he needs
more playing time, both him and his club are looking for a loan out next season
to gain more experience. Clubs like Murcia and Levante have shown a serious
interest.

Q: Do you feel flattered by Murcia's interest in you?

A: Yes, of course. It's very flattering to draw attention from a team like
Murcia who has achieved promotion to the Primera Division. It's a reward for my
job.

Q: And what about Levante?

A: It's another team interested in me and I'm also very grateful for that.

Q: Is a transfer possible?

A: That's not on my mind now. I want to stay at Deportivo so, but a loan would
be the best for me as I want to succeed here.

Q: Do you feel helped by the supporters?

A: Yes, no doubt about it. I'm absolutely delighted with the supporters for
their affection as they know how difficult it is to play at this team.

Q: Can we say your relation with the club is good?

A: They have always bet on me and they didn't cause any problem with the loan
possibility. I would be lying if I say I don't feel accepted.

Q: Fran and you are the only players from the youth team who are part of the
first team with regularity...

A: Yes, but building new facilities could help to improve the youth team. It's
true that players from youth team have had few opportunities until now, but I
hope they will have more chances to show they can play at Primera Division
level.
