Jose Mourinho last night became the first man to be charged with sarcasm by
the Football Association.

As Wembley beaks launched a triple assault on the Blues by also charging
Mourinho's assistant Rui Faria and Ramires for their behaviour during the
defeat by Sunderland, the Chelsea boss was the surprise catch in the net.

But in what will represent a test case of the FA rulebook, disciplinary
chiefs have decided his comments about referee Mike Dean and officials' chief
Mike Riley amounted to allegations of a deliberate conspiracy against Chelsea.

In a statement delayed until the close of business hours, the FA announced
the charges, with Chelsea declining to comment.

Faria faces an Alan Pardew-style stadium ban after being charged for his
furious touchline confrontation with referee Dean.

Ramires will serve a four-game ban – ending his domestic season – after the
FA's video panel of former referees unanimously agreed he deserved a red card
for cuffing Sunderland's Seb Larsson.

But it was the charges for Mourinho, which were a surprise to Chelsea, that
proved the FA is determined to get tough after the Blues boss has already
been found guilty of improper conduct twice this season.

In a series of brief interviews after Saturday's defeat, Mourinho said:
"Congratulations to Mike Dean. His performance was fantastic. He did a really
amazing performance.

"And, finally, congratulations to Mike Riley because of the way he has
organised things this season, the referees doing well in accordance with the
objectives."

The Portuguese did not expect any comeback, having chosen his words carefully.

But explaining the "improper conduct" charge, the FA said: "It is alleged
that Mourinho's call into question the integrity of the Referee and/or the
integrity of Mr Mike Riley, General Manager of the Professional Game Match
Officials Limited, and/or the comments bring the game into disrepute."

The Ramires case is open and shut and he has until 6pm today (Thurs) to
respond, he will be hit with a four game ban for what was deemed effective
second red card of the season following his violent conduct dismissal at
Aston Villa last month.

But both Mourinho and Rui Faria have been given until Monday to give their
responses.

The manager is likely to be fined for a third time this season, although a
touchline ban is possible.

Faria, though, can expect a stadium ban and an additional touchline ban after
being accused of misconduct towards both Dean and furth official Phil Dowd.

The statement explained: "The FA has designated this as a non-standard case
due to the aggressive and/or threatening and/or serious nature of the
reported behaviour."

The Portuguese, who has been at Mourinho's side throughout his 12 years as a
front-line manager, had to be dragged away and down the tunnel by members of
Chelsea's back-room staff.

Newcastle chief Pardew was handed a three-match stadium ban with an extra
four-match touchline suspension after butting Hull's David Meyler.

And while Faria did not go that far – even Mourinho had to haul him back
from attacking Dean – the fact that a match official was threatened will
count heavily against him.

A disciplinary hearing in front of an independent commission is expected to
be held before the end of the season.

But the FA will be pushing for punitive sanctions, as a public signal of the
unacceptable nature of Faria's behaviour.

賽後暗諷了主裁判的表現，切爾西球員拉米雷斯則在比賽過程中有一個報復對方球員拉爾

英足總在官方聲明中稱，拉米雷斯在比賽的第42分鐘肘擊了桑德蘭球員拉爾森，這但
