Q. Pretty high level Justine, huh?
今天比賽表現很好厚?

JUSTINE HENIN: Yeah, I mean, I was happy the way I played and served. I've
been consistent from the first point almost to the end, because I lost my
serve twice in the second set. But happy. I was ready for a good battle, and
she did a lot of mistakes but I've been very consistent. Didn't give a lot of
free points. Very aggressive, went to the net a lot on my serves. It's good
because I know that now I will need that in my next match and in my next few
matches, I hope.
是啊，今天我還蠻開心，我的發球和打法都不錯，雖然第二盤的時候發球出現雙誤，
但從一開始就表現很穩定到最後。我本來準備要好好打一場硬仗，但對手的失誤很多，
而我則一直很穩定，並沒有給對方佔到便宜的機會，我很積極，發球上網次數很多，
這也是我在下一場和未來的比賽中，所需要做的事。

Q. Were you thinking about that going out tonight? I know Safina obviously
can be tough, but you're at a little bit different level, I need to get my
game to a different level?
妳今天晚上有想過要傾全力打嗎? 我的意思是說，雖然Safina是難纏的對手，但妳的實力
又在稍為不同的層次，妳有想過要把比賽打得更有挑戰性一點嗎?

JUSTINE HENIN: Yeah. I knew it was going to be a different level than the
first three matches. It's good in because this kind of situation I know I can
push myself a little more. In the first three matches I was playing well but
I didn't know really where I was and how my level was, and today against a
better player I knew that I had to be very, very aggressive on every point.
So I was feeling good. My shoulder has been feeling better, too, so I'm very
glad about that.
我知道今天應該會是比較有挑戰性的一場，但這樣也好，如此一來就會更加激勵我要打得
更好。前三場的賽事中，我雖然也打得不錯，但卻有點不確定自己的表現是不是真的夠好
，今天能遇上有挑戰性的選手，讓我更具攻擊性，而我的肩傷也好很多了，對此我很開心

Q. You didn't play Serena for four years, and now you're going play her for
the third Slam in a row at the quarterfinals, is that a blessing or a curse?
在今年以前妳有四年未曾與小威對戰過了，今年卻一口氣在三個大滿貫的八強賽中遇上，
妳覺得是好事還是壞事?

JUSTINE HENIN: I think that I've been pretty lucky. I haven't been lucky, but
that worked pretty good for me in the last two Grand Slams. I hope it's going
to be another good one. Yeah, we know each other pretty well. I know everyone
was waiting for that match, and here we are. That's why I'm playing tennis,
to play this kind of match. That's why I'm here. I'm very happy I'm going
play her, and I hope we can show good tennis, and I think it's great for me.
我覺得這樣還蠻幸運的，至少在上兩場滿貫賽中和小威對戰，我表現得算不錯，希望這次
也能那麼幸運，我們對彼此的球路都很熟悉，也知道大家都在等著這一場賽事，那就打吧
。和這樣好的選手比賽，也是我一直持續打下去的原因之一，我很高興下一場能和小威打
，希望我們能一起打出一場高水準的球賽。

Q. Did you get a sense of how injured she was, especially on the backhand
side at Wimbledon, and what do you expect of her now that she's had time for
the thumb to heal?
小威在溫布頓中受傷妳知道她的傷勢嗎?，尤其她的反拍特別受到影響，而她手指傷癒後
，妳預期她的表現會如何?

JUSTINE HENIN: Well, I never really focus on my opponent; more on myself. It
was important for me to beat her on another surface than clay in Wimbledon.
But it was very emotional for me. That took me a lot energy that match. And I
know it's going to be different, different surface. She's here at home. She
loves to play in the US Open. Probably I suppose maybe night match on
Tuesday, so it's going to be great. So I'm not really focused on what she's
going to do. Just going to try to do my job the best I can. Try to be at my
best level and the best will win.
我很少把注意力放在我的對手身上，我在意的是自身的表現，在像溫布頓那樣的草地而非
法網的紅士球場上，和小威的比賽對我而言就更重要了，情緒壓力也比較大，必須花更多
的精力才能應付。我了解這次又是不同的場地，而且她是主場，她一向都很喜歡美網，而
且那場很有可能是星期二的夜間賽事，屆時將會變成大家關注的焦點，所以我不打算把注
意力放在她的動向，只關注我自己能不能好好的打，試著發揮自己最好的狀態，到時表現
較佳的那一方自然會獲勝。

Q. How much of her matches have you seen today or at all this week?
妳今天或這個星期中有看過她的比賽嗎?

JUSTINE HENIN: Not that much. Just maybe a few games. But I haven't been
really focused on the other players here because it's hard to compare, you
know. Every match is different, every situation is different, and I have a
very different kind of game from all the other players. I don't look too
much. I don't watch too much. So we'll see. Different match now.
沒有很多，大概只有幾局，但一如往常，我沒有特別注意我的對手，而且也很難作比較，
每一場比賽都不同，狀況也不同，面對不同的選手也會打出不同的比賽，我不會看太多別
人的比賽，就拭目以待吧，那將會是不同的賽事。

Q. Is it more valuable to look back on what happened in Miami for you, than
it is the French or Wimbledon?
現在回顧在邁阿密(SonyEricsson)的比賽較有收獲?還是法網或溫布頓?
(註：SonyEricsson對戰小威勝，而法網和溫網皆Henin 勝出)

JUSTINE HENIN: For sure. I think I was the best player on the court for
almost two sets, but she's been stronger than me at that time to finish the
match. I wasn't because probably I didn't believe in myself that much, and
that's what changed in the French and in Wimbledon. But I should
have won that match. But tennis -- I mean, we proved that until the last
point it's not over. You have to fight very hard and I was a bit short. But
it was a great match I think in Miami. It's been -- I really enjoyed it. Even
I lost it it's been good memories for me because I think we both played very
good tennis, and I hope that's what we going to do on Tuesday.
如果只打前兩盤的話，我無疑是最佳的那一方，但是她最終還是比我強壯，我想可能是因
為我當時沒有對自己那麼有信心，但在法網和溫網中我的想法變了，不過我認為我本來應
該可以嬴得那一場(SonyEricsson)，但那次比賽證明了，網球不到最後一分是無法見分曉
的，你必須盡全力打，只是我就差那麼一點，但那還是一場很好的比賽，也是一個很好的
回憶，終究我們打出了一場有水準的比賽，希望星期二也打出另一場好看的球賽。

Q. Why do you think the two of you are able to bring out the best in each
other?
妳認為妳們雙方能激勵出彼此最佳的一面嗎? 原因何在?

JUSTINE HENIN: Well, I think it's important these contests because we all --
finally we all help each other to be better. And when you feel another player
is playing well you just want to be better. That's great. That's the way I
felt when I was with Kim on the tour. Kim and I helped each other a lot. I
like this contests, and there's a lot of respect now and everything is fine.
So that's very important, too.
我們的比賽對彼此很重要，因為我們互相使對方成為更好的球員，當一方打得好時，另一
方則想變得更好，這樣很棒，就好像我當初跟Kim (Clijsters)在比賽中一樣，Kim和我互

Q. She said that one of the reasons why you have had some success against her
and why the rivalry is so special is because you actually believe you can
beat her at times. Could the same be said on the other side?
小威說妳之所以能嬴，而妳們之間的對立如此特別，只是因為有時候妳以為自己
可以勝過她，妳覺得這樣的說法反之而言也能成立嗎?

JUSTINE HENIN: Yeah. I mean, we both have a lot of character and a lot of
personality. We both have been very strong mentally on the court and in the
last few years. She won Grand Slams; I did. She's been No. 1 and I've been.
So it's great. You know, now let's go and play and we'll see what's going to
happen. But there's a lot of respect professionally between the two of us,
that's for sure.
我覺得她和我都很有個性，在場上比賽時，心態也很頑強，在過去幾年裡，她嬴得大滿貫
，我也是，她曾是世界第一，我現在也是，這樣很公平、很好，且讓我們拭目以待接下來

Q. So just talk about just a couple keys to the match because she's been
serving pretty great here. It seems to be the one stroke that doesn't leave
her.

JUSTINE HENIN: Yeah.

Q. Do you have to sort of match that on your side?

JUSTINE HENIN: Yeah, for sure. We'll see what's going to happen on the court
on Tuesday. Going to be a different kind of match and different kind of
pressure. She serve well, but I will try to take every opportunity I can and
I have qualities in my game and I serve better tonight, too. We play so
differently, which is very interesting and very exciting. So, yeah, I'm very
excited to be on Tuesday for sure.
當然有，但還是視當天球場上的表現而定吧，不同的比賽帶來不同的壓力，她發球是不錯
，但我會尋求每個致勝的機會，而我也有自己的素質，我今天晚上的發球也不錯，
和小威打球將會很不一樣，也一定會很有趣、很令人興奮，我很期待星期二的對戰。
