Matthew Dellavedova's play in the 2015 NBA Finals has earned him praise by
many. Among all the hype, though, his hometown won't let him forget where he
came from.

Maryborough, Australia unveiled the new name for its stadium, henceforth
called the "Dellavedova Dome," according to 3AW.com.

"CEO Mark Johnson told 3AW Breakfast Dellavedova had done enough to have his
home-town stadium named after him," the 3AW story reads. " 'That’s where
Matt Dellavedova learned his craft and the Maryborough Basketball Association
have suggested that the stadium, which is a two-court stadium, ought to be
renamed after Matthew,' Mr Johnson told 3AW Breakfast."

Dellavedova helped the Cavaliers earn their 2-1 lead on the Warriors, scoring
20 points in Game 3. Not on the stat sheet was his toughness, which he showed
by diving for loose basketballs and putting defensive pressure on Stephen
Curry. All that combined seems to have earned him so much international
acclaim to have his own arena.
