有關下賽季電視轉撥 - 拉科魯尼亞體育俱樂部 Real Club Deportivo de La Coruña

在歐冠的出色表現更幫拉科做了最好的宣傳，拉科的球迷現在已經不侷限

When Deportivo were negotiating a new TV deal, for sure president Lendoiro
reminded Audiovisual Sport that his club is one of the viewers' favourite clubs
. Indeed, Depor has been the second most broadcasted team in Spain during the
last season.

Putting aside the 'pay-per-view' (PPV) games, 33 official matches of Deportivo
have been televised either by the Galician TV (regional television),
Spanish TV (national television), or Canal Plus. Only Barcelona made
more appearances on TV, 34 to be exact. However, if Depor would have reached
the Quarter Finals of the Champions League - as Barca did - it would have
counted 36 games.

What is more, besides its "constellation of stars", and the fact that half of
the Spaniards declare themselves Real Madrid fans, the "galactic" Madrilenian
team is far behind Deportivo and Barca in what regards to TV presence. Real
Madrid has only been broadcasted 28 times in Spain, and most of these (16
matches) were on the Champions League. Indeed, Depor and Barca were regarded
as far more interesting in both the Liga and Copa competitions.

Deportivo has been mainly televised via FORTA, that is Galician TV and its
counterparts in other territories of the Spanish State, also including the
second Spanish public network or TVE2. Depor summed up 11 Liga appearances
on public TV, 5 in Canal Plus, 4 Copa games, and 13 Champions League games.

Barca was mainly broadcasted by Canal Plus (up to 10 times). Canal Plus only
broadcasted 3 Real Madrid matches. Valencia was the fourth team participating
in the Champions League, and it also was the fourth most regular on the
television. Valencia was put on air 27 times in total. Atletico de Madrid and
Real Sociedad complete the list of the most broadcasted teams in Spain, but
keeping some distance from the top four.

Nevertheless, it is an undeniable fact that teams with a broader fan base are
economically more attractive to TV networks. Indeed, Real Madrid, Barca and
Atletico de Madrid were, once again, the most wanted teams in the PPV system.
This is why these three clubs were able to reach their respective TV deals for
next season so quickly, while Depor had to wait until yesterday in order to get
a truly profitable agreement.

On the other hand, despite coming from a small city with a limited local fan
base, it is also a fact that Deportivo is becoming a more and more interesting
team for the general public. Its continuous presence in the top positions of
the Liga, and its constant struggle in the Copa and the Champions League, have
captured the attention of both TV networks and fans worldwide.
