Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo won the 2019 NBA MVP award.
However, if you ask Houston Rockets superstar James Harden, the trophy
belonged to him in 2019 — just as it did in 2018.
公鹿明星字母哥Giannis Antetokounmpo拿到去年球季的季賽MVP，不過若是去問火箭超級
明星James Harden的話，他會說上季MVP獎盃應該是他的--就像2018年一樣。

Harden has campaigned this past summer to state that the media narrative
helped dictate Giannis receiving the award. Possibly, Harden is alluding to
his scoring outburts — which had become too passe. Whatever it was, Harden
didn’t think Giannis was deserving of the award.
Harden在休賽季的時候一直在表示，是去年賽季的媒體風向幫助字母哥拿下MVP。很有可能
Harden在暗示他的大量得分可能已經是太老套了，但是不管如何，Harden都不認為字母哥
夠格拿下MVP獎盃。

With the season approaching, Giannis begins his MVP defense this Thursday
coming against you guessed it, Harden and the Houston Rockets.
而隨著賽季即將開始，字母哥開始捍衛他的MVP，而對象大家想也知道，是火箭跟Harden。

In a recent interview with Yahoo! Sports, Giannis is quick to say he doesn’t
want to engage in a war of words with Harden. However, he isn’t going to go
on and on about who is the deserving MVP.
最近字母哥接受Yahoo Sports的訪問，他很快就說他不想再跟Harden打口水戰，他也不會
再去解釋到底誰有資格拿MVP。

As the Bucks point-forward noted, Harden knows where the trophy rests.
就如下面字母哥所說，Harden知道獎盃在哪裡。

“That’s their opinion. They’re gonna have James’ back,” Antetokounmpo
said. “I’m never gonna say I’m better than James.”
「那是他們的意見，他們會挺James，」字母哥說。「我不會去說我比James強。」

But it doesn’t mean he’ll relinquish the award or apologize for it. “The
trophy’s in my house,” he said.
但是那不代表他會退回獎盃或是道歉甚麼的。「獎盃已經在我家裡了，」字母哥說。

Both Harden and Giannis are looking to have another monster season, but they
will likely want to erase the tastes from their mouths on how they exited in
their postseasons.
Harden跟字母哥本季也被認為會有狂野的表現，但是兩個大概都得先要去把去年季後賽他
們兩隊如何各自被淘汰的苦楚給處理掉。
