Timberwolves’ Andrew Wiggins will be donating $22 to charity for every point
for the second straight year

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Andrew Wiggins donated $22 for every point
that he scored last season. He announced on Twitter that he is going to be
doing that again in 2019-20.

"I’m proud to announce for the second year straight i’ll be donating $22 for
every point I score towards supporting underprivileged children who face
barriers in participating in organized sports. The goal is and will always be
to help kids be kids and play sports!"

During the 2018-19 season, Wiggins managed to total 1,321 points and that
translated to a donation of $29,062 to charity. The money went towards ‘
supporting underprivileged children who face barriers in participating in
organized sports.’
上個賽季Wiggins拿下總分1321分，所以他就捐了29062鎂給慈善團體，這些球都是去支持

There could be plenty of points scored from Wiggins this season as he is
quite motivated to prove himself. He recently expressed that there are not ‘
100 players better than me’ when asked about being left out of ESPN’s top
100 players in the league annual list.
今年他可能會多拿一些分，因為這一季他很有想要證明自己的動力。最近他才表示，當被

“I don’t really look at that too much, top 100 or not top 100,” Wiggins
said, via ESPN. “There’s not 100 players better than me, so it doesn’t
matter what people think. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. My job
is to come out here and hoop, and that’s what I’m going to do.”

Wiggins is entering his sixth season with the Timberwolves and is coming off
a respectable season with averages of 18.1 points and 4.8 rebounds. With
Jimmy Butler no longer on the team like he was to start last season, there
will likely be more offensive responsibility for Wiggins out of the gate.

Regardless of what critics have to say about Wiggins, it’s great to see him
donating so much to charity. It’s never required of a player to make a
positive impact in their respective community but he chooses to do so anyway.

但是Wiggins仍然堅持繼續做下去。
