人蔘對跑步的功效? - 路跑 Road Running

最近因為每個月都至少感冒一次。
(我猜,大概是今年感冒沒完全好,就衝去跑國道半馬,
結果那次感冒拖了一個月才好。
可能對身體有點影響。)
每次都至少一個禮拜才好,休息加養病,嚴重影響年底ING初馬的練習進度。
前幾天跑去看中醫,中醫說我氣虛,建議我用西洋蔘切片泡茶喝,補氣。
後來上網查了一些關於人蔘的資料,
發現這樣的資料:

人參在中國是早就受到重視的。中醫一向認為它「力能補虛」。《神農本草經》把它列為
「上品」,稱其有「補五臟,安精神,定魂魄,止驚悸」等作用。据宋朝《嘉祜圖經本草
‧論人參》記載:「相傳欲使二人同走(競走),一含人參,一空口,各走三、五里許,
其不含人參者必大喘,含者氣息自如。」

假設這個資料是真的的話,
中國宋朝有紀錄含著人蔘跑步,會讓人比較不喘。
意思是說,人蔘可以減少耗氧量的意思囉?
有跑友試過含著人蔘跑馬嗎?
