Good evening everyone! It's about 11pm right now - it was a long (but great)
day!

We were able to win the doubles title earlier today. There was a little bit
of drama in the first set, we started well but couldn't finish it. But we
stayed focused and won the second set. We led from the start of the super
tie-break and won here for the second year in a row! The crowd was great. I
hope they had fun. I don't remember the exact score we beat Anna-Lena and
Vania by last year but I know the tie-break was much more under control this
year.

Barbora and I have now won seven titles together. We were counting them after
the match. It's a great number. Hopefully we can make some more in the future.

After our final we stayed and watched the singles final, because both singles
and doubles trophies were being presented after the singles final. It was
unusual but we had fun - it was nice to sit back and watch the match! The
first two sets were quite fast and the third was closer. Anastasia beat
Jelena in the end and then we all did the ceremony together. I think the
crowd liked it.

Afterwards we were all invited by the Tournament Director to a dinner party
at the house of one of his best friends. Other players were there too and
there were so many kids! The friend had nine kids and the daughter had
another six of them... it was a big family! The house was huge. It was a
really nice dinner.

Now I have to pack fast because I'm leaving the hotel at 6:30am for the
airport. Maybe I'll just stuff it all in my bag and sit on it... I've done
that before.

Thank you everyone for reading this week. It was fun and I hope to do it
again soon. Maybe it's some good luck for me now too.

Now it's off to Indian Wells... until next time :)
