FORT MYERS, Fla. -- David Ortiz did not participate in on-field activities
Thursday morning due to a sore shoulder.
The Red Sox slugger worked out inside and afterwards said he’s feeling a
little discomfort, but he’s fine. Manager Terry Francona said Ortiz slept on
his left shoulder funny, but he should be fine.
"I told him to stay inside," Francona said.
Francona expects Ortiz to be back on the field Friday.
