: The Memphis Grizzlies made a personnel decision Thursday night that could
: allow them to make another push at Pistons free agent Allen Iverson.

: ESPN.com reported that power forward Hakim Warrick was taken by surprise when
: the Grizzlies rescinded their $3-million qualifying offer to him, giving them
: more flexibility on the free-agent market.

: It could be a move to free up money to talk with Iverson, whose time in
: Detroit last season was a disaster.
