Justine's rare early season indoor tournament, the first since 2004, ended
today with Lucie Safarova the victor 6-7(5) 4-6 in the semi-final. The Czech
kept her Australian tour match form, but Justine's season has only begun. The
enigmatic Belgian will take a few days of rest before flying to U.A.E to
participate in the Dubai Tennis Championships.

The first set started out well for Justine as she put great pressure on her
adversary to 5-2. The lack of competition tour matches caught with the Belgian, as she
lost her serves, and unable to convert advantage points. The on form Safarova
took the following games toward a tiebreaker. From 5-4 the young left-handed
Czech won the tiebreak at 5-7.

Justine was back into the swing of things in the second set, and led at 4-2.
But her supreme serves from previous days failed to make an appearance.
Double faults from playing too hard gave young Lucie easy points, and she won
the second set on her first match point.

Final score: 6-7(5) 4-6
