French Open 2011: Kim Clijsters Confirms She Will Play - 網球 Tennis

The tournament organisers at Roland Garros have confirmed that Kim Clijsters
will be competing this year.

She had been a doubt because of a shoulder injury that flared up at Indian
Wells, combined with an ankle injury at a social occasion, but she has now
announced that she will be in the draw this week.

She resumed training at the start of the month but has not participated in
any tournaments since then. She has won the last two grand slam events, the
Australian Open in January (where she beat Li Na) and the US Open last year
(where she beat world No 1 Caroline Wozniacki).去年是Z娃前年才是Woz

Clijsters has never actually won the French Open, but reached the final twice
before her career break. This will be her first tournament at Roland Garros
since her semi-final defeat against Justine Henin in 2006.

She is currently ranked at No 2 in the world, and she is expected to be
seeded second for this tournament, which will be announced later in the week.
