我真的不知道簽這個約有什麼爭議性的
我剛去看了明年的FA list
如果不把這個錢花在Ichiro!身上水兵會去把前放在哪裡:
1. All-Star Run-Producing Power Hitting Veteran Corner IF Shea Hillenbrand
10 mil/2 yrs
2. Former ROY Left-Handed Power-hitting Versatile IF/OF Erik Hinske
5 mil/2 yrs
3. Proven Playoff Winner and Clubhouse Leader 1B/OF Kevin Millar
6 mil/2 yrs
4. Gold Glove defensive specialist 1B Doug Mientkiewicz
1 mil/1 yr
5. All-Star Intelligent contact hitter IF Mark Loretta
3mil/ 1yr
OK, the free agent market isn't THAT bad.
But the point stands.
The Mariners could have spent their money keeping their best position player
and franchise icon long-term, or they could have signed 5 shitty White former
Red Sox first basemen.
The choice is pretty easy.
