Massimo Moratti, the Inter Milan president, says bringing Frank Lampard to
the San Siro remains his number one priority.

The England international's future at Chelsea remains in doubt and Morrati
hinted some talks had taken place with the Premier League club. Chelsea have
been bracing themselves for an official bid since José Mourinho was
appointed coach last month.
Lampard is one of three players that Mourinho has told Moratti he wants to
sign this summer, with Deco, the Barcelona playmaker, and Ricardo Quaresma,
the FC Porto winger, completing the shortlist. Lampard has been talking to
Chelsea about a new contract for more than two years with little progress.

"Lampard? We like him, and he's our number one objective," Moratti said.
