根據 The Athletic UK 王牌記者 David Ornstein 的獨家報導，切爾西國際球
探負責人斯科特˙麥克拉克蘭（Scott McLachlan）已經離開了斯坦福橋。據說此舉
是他長期以來的夙願，而且是按照他的條件做出的決定。據悉，他將在足球界的其他
球隊擔任高層職位。


麥克拉克蘭被認為是帶著俱樂部的祝福離開切爾西的，而且他仍然受到前任和現
任老闆的高度尊重。週五是他在切爾西的最後一天，而在他正式離職之前，麥克拉克
蘭休了整整三個月的園藝假（帶薪休假）。


他從 2011-12 賽季開始就一直擔任切爾西球探主管，在切爾西歷史上那段極其
成功，但也常常是混亂的時期，他是引援工作的重要一份子。切爾西自己也希望在一
月轉會窗之前任命一名體育總監。

Chelsea parted company with their Head of International Scouting Scott
McLachlan on Friday, a day after the transfer window closed.


Petr Cech left his technical advisor role and will soon be replaced by a
sporting director, with former Liverpool chief Michael Edwards the
overwhelming favourite to get the post.


“I'm not involved in that I have to say,” said Tuchel of McLachlan's
exit. “I am so, so happy. I had the feeling for one-and-a-half days I
shifted back to 100% being a coach which I enjoy a lot and where my full
energy will go from now on. We need that energy going into the team. It's
a very complex situation with sporting directors and which role they have.
They are very different in different countries and clubs.


“It's no secret that I loved to work with Petr [Cech]. The communication
and having this kind of legend at Cobham, who took care of not only our
building but the academy and the culture of the club, was a pure pleasure
for me. It's a big change to not have him and we're still adapting. I am
not actively involved in the search or building of a new structure. I'm
not so sure it is my job.”

The club have not given up on trying to convince Michael Edwards to take
the DOF role. Paul Mitchell is also a very strong candidate. A former
player is also being considered.
