Chelsea Football Club have today parted company with Head Coach Frank
Lampard.

This has been a very difficult decision, and not one that the owner and
the Board have taken lightly.

這是一個非常艱難的決定，不是俱樂部老闆和董事會輕易就能做出的決定。


We are grateful to Frank for what he has achieved in his time as Head
Coach of the Club. However, recent results and performances have not met
the Club's expectations, leaving the Club mid-table without any clear
path to sustained improvement.

我們感謝弗蘭克擔任俱樂部主教練期間幫助球隊所取得的成就。然而，最近的球隊成
績和表現並沒有達到俱樂部的預期，目前球隊處在積分榜中游位置，並沒有任何明顯
正在進步的跡象。


There can never be a good time to part ways with a club legend such as
Frank, but after lengthy deliberation and consideration it was decided a
change is needed now to give the Club time to improve performances and
results this season.

對於像弗蘭克這樣的切爾西傳奇人物來說，分手永遠不會有什麼好時機，但經過長時
間深思熟慮後，我們決定現在做出改變，讓球隊有時間提升自己的表現和成績。


Roman Abramovich said,

have an excellent personal relationship with Frank and I have the utmost
respect for him.

“He is a man of great integrity and has the highest of work ethics.
However, under current circumstances we believe it is best to change
managers.

like to thank Frank for his work as Head Coach and wish him every success

The Club will be making no further comment until such time as a new Head
Coach is appointed.
