Samir Nasri is strongly linked with a move to Arsenal and his agent has
declared that the Marseille playmaker has received offers regarding a
summer move.

The talismanic Nasri might play his last ever game for L’OM on Saturday
night, against Strasbourg, and the Provence side not qualifying for the
Champions League could convince the France international to move on.
His agent Jean-Pierre Bernes has confirmed that Arsene Wenger is interested
in one of the most promising players of his generation, and that the
attacking midfielder, who could replace Alexander Hleb should the Belarussian
leave London, is yet to make a decision about his future.
“As soon as the season is over, we will discuss with Samir, about his
future, and we will plan all the solutions,” he told Le Parisien.
“There are offers, that is the truth, but for the moment nothing is
decided.”
Nasri’s buy-out clause is set between ￡12 and ￡16 million.

Arsenal target Samir Nasri is free to leave Marseille subject to a suitable
offer being made, but manager Eric Gerets wants to keep the talismanic
midfielder at the club.
The promising player recently signed a new long-term contract with L’OM
but a clause in his deal permits the talented playmaker to move if a transfer
fee reaches his employer’s demands, expected to reach ￡14 million.
The 21-year-old is desired by top clubs, but Gerets believes him staying
would be the signing of the summer for Le Velodrome’s outfit.
"Before thinking about bringing in reinforcements over the summer we need
to know who is going to stay, and above all the players I want to keep,"
Gerets told L'Equipe.
"If there is a big offer for Samir, then of course he will leave.
"I can't criticise the club because it is the same everywhere. When there
is a huge offer made, players leave."
Whether Marseille play in the Champions League next season or not will decide
how ambitious their recruitment policy is, and Lens centre back Vitorino
Hilton is an option, as well as St Etienne star Bafetimbi Gomis and the in-
demand Hatem Ben Arfa.
“We have been thinking of Hilton’s name,” Marseille chairman Pape Diouf
said.
“I like Gomis, but I like Benzema as well. I like Cris.
“Hatem Ben Arfa is a top quality boy that we would easily take at L’OM with
a large smile.”
