薩里離開切爾西足球俱樂部，返回義大利，擔任尤文圖斯主教練。兩家俱樂部已
經就提前終止薩里與切爾西足球俱樂部的合同達成協議。薩里與切爾西的合同還剩下
兩年，但在他的請求下決定結束合同。


切爾西董事格拉諾夫斯卡婭說：“在歐聯決賽後的會面中，毛里西奧清楚表明他
希望回到自己祖國的強烈願望，並解釋了希望回到義大利工作的原因。他還覺得遠離
自己的家人非常困難，為了他年邁的雙親，他感覺自己需要住得距離他們更近一些。”
