Having spent the last 4 years of my footballing career at such a great
club, it is time for me to move on. I've made some brothers who will be
friends for life, and some memories that will stay with me forever.

I'd like to thank the club, staff and the players for making it such a
special 4 years and not only educating me as a player but as a man. I'm
now ready for what's in store for my career

After an impressive trial spell towards the end of last season, Republic
of Ireland youth international forward George Nunn has joined Derby on a
two-year deal from Premier League outfit Chelsea.

Derby have completed the signing of George Nunn from Chelsea. Spent time
on trial at the club last season and impressed. Derby very much have an
eye on the present as well as the future. Smart business.

In other Academy news, George Nunn and Josh Tobin have left the club.


Nunn has moved to League One side Derby County, bringing to an end a
four-year spell with Chelsea. He played predominantly as a striker and on
occasions a left-sided attacker, although it was in a wing-back position
he featured most often in the development squad in the 2021/22 season. He
scored 17 goals in 92 Academy appearances across a number of competitions.


We thank both players and wish them the best of luck in the next phase of
their careers.
