Dutch loan for Colkett

Charlie Colkett has agreed a season-long loan with Vitesse Arnhem.


A talented midfielder, the 20-year-old enjoyed a productive 2016/17
campaign with loan spells at Bristol Rovers and Swindon Town in England
and will now head to the Netherlands.


Colkett has won both the FA Youth Cup and UEFA Youth League with our
Academy sides, and he was named among the substitutes for the first team
in an away game at Swansea under Dutchman Guus Hiddink.


Vitesse finished fifth in the Eredivisie last season, and Colkett will
join fellow Blue Fankaty Dabo in their ranks for the new campaign.
