Rockets hire Adelman as new basketball coach

Rick Adelman, the only coach the Rockets targeted or interviewed, agreed
to terms on a contract to become the Rockets next coach, a person with knowledge
of the Rockets' decision-making said on Monday.

Adelman will fly to Houston on Tuesday and be introduced on Wednesday.
