Lakers Guard Quinn Cook Once Told A Drunk Nurse He Was Derrick Rose
湖人後衛Quinn Cook曾跟一位喝醉的護士說他是Derrick Rose

Quinn Cook is living his best life right now. He fought his way into the
league, won an NBA Championship, and will now play side by side with LeBron
James on the Los Angeles Lakers, the team he grew up rooting for.
Quinn Cook現在是在他人生最好的時光，他努力打進了NBA，也拿下過冠軍，而現在他要在
他從小就支持的隊伍--湖人--跟LBJ一起打球。

Cook has made a name for himself for being an easy-going teammate who’s got
a lot of jokes, but he’s not that known outside of the basketball court.
Cook在球界以他好相處的個性為人所知道，有很多有趣的事，不過不熟悉籃球的人對他可
能就沒那麼熟。

Hence, it wouldn’t be crazy to think an outsider may confuse him with
another famous basketball player, especially if they’re not precisely lucid
at the time.
也因此，若是沒有在看比賽的人把Cook當做是別的明星也就不奇怪了，更不要說是腦袋不
太清楚的時候。

That’s why, according to NBA insider Steve Kyler, Cook made the most of his
looks and heights to mess with a drunk nurse that came across him during the
Draft combine interview in 2015, telling her he was Derrick Rose.
根據NBA Insider記者Steve Kyler報導，Cook在2015年選秀聯合訪談時，用他的外表惡搞
了一位喝醉酒的護士，說他是Derrick Rose。

"My best Quinn Cook story was at the draft combine, we're in the lobby and a
drunk nurse from a convention comes up to him and says "are you a basketball
player?" he says yes, she says I get a picture… "what's your name", without
missing a beat he says "Derrick Rose" and smiles."
「我有關於Quinn Cook的好故事，那次是在選秀聯訪的時候，我們在大廳然後有個喝醉酒
的護士走過來，然後對Cook說，『你是籃球員嗎？』Cook說是，之後她說可以拍照嗎..然
後她問Cook說，『你叫甚麼名字？』Cook毫不遲疑的微笑著說，『Derrick Rose。』」

While Cook ended up going undrafted, Derrick Rose was already considered one
of the league’s biggest superstars, and truth to be told, there’s a certain
resemblance between both of them.
Cook最後選秀並沒被選上，而那時候的Derrick Rose正是聯盟的當紅明星球員，不過老實
說，這兩個的外表某種程度上有點像。

Now, Cook and Rose’s roles aren’t going to be that different after all, as
both of them will be asked to run their team’s offense off the bench as
their scoring sparks of the second unit.
而現在，這兩個人在各自球隊上將要扮演的角色也沒太不一樣，兩個人都被期待從板凳出
發，在第二陣上場時扮演攻擊的角色。

On a side note, it’s pretty crazy to think that Quinn Cook actually won an
NBA Championship before Derrick Rose did, so maybe, next time a drunk nurse
comes his way, he’ll smile and won’t pretend to be anybody else.
不過，想到Quinn Cook居然比Derrick Rose早拿到冠軍戒指這件事還是有點瘋狂。所以，
或許下一次Cook又碰到另外一個酒醉護士，他就可以微笑的說出他自己的名字，不用再假
裝是其他人了。
