The Detroit Pistons now own the longest playoff losing streak in NBA history.

After losing 127-104 to the Milwaukee Bucks in Game 4 of their Eastern
Conference first-round series, the Pistons were not only swept in the
playoffs; they also took the top spot on the list of NBA teams with the most
consecutive losses in the playoffs, at 14.

In addition, the Pistons’ postseason losing skid is now one of the worst
streaks involving the four major sports in the United States.

The Pistons’ streak began in Game 5 of the 2008 Eastern Conference finals
against the Boston Celtics. They made the playoffs again in 2009 but were
swept by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first round. They missed the
postseason for six straight years before making it again in 2016, only to be
swept by the Cavs anew.

Heading into the 2019 playoffs, Detroit was actually tied with the Portland
Trail Blazers for 10 straight losses in the playoffs, but when the latter won
Game 1 of their Western Conference first-round series against the Oklahoma
City Thunder, the Pistons were left alone in that category.
時序進到2019年季後賽，本來活塞是跟阿拓都是季後賽10連敗，但是阿拓在西區季後賽第
一輪Game 1就打敗了雷霆，就讓活塞一隊繼續保持紀錄。

To make things worse, Detroit faced the Bucks in Games 1 and 2 without their
best player, Blake Griffin.
活塞更慘的是，他們在Game 1跟Game 2面對公鹿時都沒有他們的最佳球員Blake Griffin在
場上。

Griffin did play in Games 3 and 4, but he didn’t make that much of a
difference; the Bucks were just too much for the Pistons with or without him.
雖然Griffin在Game 3跟Game 4回來了，但是情況並沒有好轉；公鹿實在太強，活塞有沒有
Griffin在沒太大差別。

The Bucks now advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals, where they will
face the Boston Celtics.

As for the Pistons, they will have to wait an entire year to try to break
their streak.
至於對於活塞，他們得要再等一年才能看看可不可以中斷這個紀錄。

They will have to form a more competitive squad first.
當然他們得要先組成一支更有競爭力的隊伍再說。
