【台灣醒報記者陳珮瑜綜合報導】每週慢跑一個小時,有助於延年益壽!丹麥科學家研究
發現每個星期花一個小時慢跑,可以延長大約6年的壽命,比起任何的極限運動都還有效
。此外,研究也證實,慢跑有助於改善民眾的肺活量、降低血壓、防止肥胖、改善心臟功
能和心理機能,是老少咸宜的運動之一。
在過去,科學家對於慢跑是否能使身體更加健康,總抱持存疑態度。1970年代掀起的運動
熱潮,使得中年男性對運動普遍抱有濃厚興趣;但其中卻有部分民眾在慢跑時猝死,媒體
解讀稱慢跑是激烈的運動,中年男性的身心恐無法負荷,此說法更增添了科學家的疑慮。
為了確認此假設是否屬實,丹麥哥本哈根心臟研究中心持續追蹤2萬名年紀介於20至93歲
的男、女性,並發現慢跑有助於改善民眾的肺活量、降低血壓、防止肥胖、改善心臟功能
和心理機能,完全推翻舊有的結論。
此外,該研究進一步指出,只要每週慢跑一、二個小時,男性的平均壽命將增加6.2年,
女性的平均壽命則增加5.6年,並可降低44%的死亡率。丹麥Bispebjerg大學醫院史諾德
醫師進一步表示,慢跑除了有助於改善心理機能,民眾也能藉著和同好切磋而增進社交功
能。
