UYL: Young Blues draw Monaco

Chelsea Under-19s will take on AS Monaco in the UEFA Youth League play-off
round, with the date and kick-off time for the game now announced.


The play-off round sees the eight teams progressing from the Domestic
Champions pathway meet the group runners-up from the UEFA Champions League
pathway in a one-legged home tie.


Joe Edwards's side will play at Cobham on Tuesday 19 February, kick-off
5pm (UK time), with the winners joining the UEFA Champions League pathway
group winners in the Round of 16. Monaco have progressed from the group
stage for the third year running, finishing second behind Atletico Madrid
in Group A.


Our youngsters have reached the final in each of their past three seasons
of involvement, lifting the trophy in 2015 and 2016 before a defeat to
Barcelona in the final last term.
