Imo theres 3 types of people:
1. The lazy type. Which Id say dont live w the regret of not becoming the
best version of yourself. Aka get off yo
2. The overworking type. This is me, my weakness. Over the years Ive been
forced to learn that the only way to consistently work well is to rest well.
To say no, to set boundaries, to not idolize my job, to avoid burnout and to
not be everything to everyone. Thats why I need a weekly Sabbath and to take
time to refuel - and my nephew Chunkzzz does that for me for sure
3. The balanced type. This is who I aspire to be. The smart ones who know
that life is a delicate balance. Work and play, family and job, confidence
and humility, preparation and adaptability. Turning it on is as important as
knowing when to turn it off
Time is a great teacher!! Have a great weekend everyone! Oh, and you know I
had to rock the @joe_linstagram jersey. Fresh off a 3 year extension and last
