Griffey ties mark for Opening Day homers

MINNEAPOLIS -- With one swing of his bat in the fifth inning Monday night,
Mariners right fielder Ken Griffey Jr. hit his 612th career home run and
tied a Major League record for most Opening Day home runs.
小葛今天揮出生涯第612號全壘打，也使他追平最多開幕戰全壘打紀錄。
The home run off Twins left-hander Francisco Liriano leading off the inning
was the eighth of Griffey's career, tying him with Hall of Famer
Frank Robinson for the all-time high.
面對雙城隊Francisco Liriano，這是小葛生涯第8支開幕戰全壘打，追平了名人堂
選手Frank Robinson，並列史上最高。
The home run to right field also was Griffey's 399th with the Mariners,
which ranks first on the franchise's all-time list.
