The NBA's Best For The Buck http://goo.gl/kpdHh (全文版本)
Tom Van Riper, 12.07.10, 12:00 PM EST
Even at $15.8 million, LeBron James was the league's most underpaid player
last year.
Forbes: NBA 09-10 十大物超所值球星 http://goo.gl/nd3UN (圖文版本)
Berri crunches points, rebounds, turnovers, steals, assists and shooting
percentages per team possessions in a typical game.(統計的數據來源)
其算法為每一單位的Wins Produced,預估其價值約為$1.7 million上下
價值估算法以LeBron James為例,其價值(Value)--27.2*1.7=46.24
No. 1: LeBron James--Cleveland Cavaliers
Wins Produced: 27.2
Value: $46.5 million
Salary: $15.8 million
King James jolted the Cavs last summer, but only after he gave the team and
the city a lot more than either ever gave him. Instead of vilifying LeBron,
fans there should be thanking him for the ride.
No. 2: Kevin Durant--Oklahoma City Thunder
Wins Produced: 19.7
Value: $33.7 million
Salary: $4.8 million
The No. 2 draft slot can be tricky. Relative busts this decade include Marvin
Williams, Darko Milicic and Stromile Swift. But the Seattle Sonics (who moved
to Oklahoma City in 2008) got a 2007 gem in Durant, one of the NBA's most
explosive players. He led the league in total minutes and points last season.
No. 3: Rajon Rondo--Boston Celtics
Wins Produced: 17
Value: $29 million
Salary: $2.1 million
Rondo's emergence as a star last year got Boston within one game of a
championship despite the aging of "big three " Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and
Ray Allen.
No. 4: Jason Kidd--Dallas Mavericks
Wins Produced: 19.6
Value: $33.6 million
Salary: $8 million
He may be getting older, and his shooting percentages have always been
mediocre, but Kidd is still a top NBA floor leader whose assist-to-turnover
ratio last year was one of the best of his career. He was also durable,
averaging 36 minutes playing time per game over 80 games.
No. 5: Gerald Wallace--Charlotte Bobcats
Wins Produced: 19.4
Value: $33.1 million
Salary: $9.1 million
The veteran forward averaged 18.2 points and 10 rebounds last year while
logging 41 minutes per game. He was also efficient, shooting more than 50%
from two-point range and 37% from three-point range.
No. 6: Marcus Camby--Los Angeles Clippers/Portland Trail Blazers
Wins Produced: 18.5
Value: $31.6 million
Salary: $7.7 million
It takes more than scoring to win games. Camby finished in the NBA's top five
in rebounding and blocked shots last season.
No. 7: Dwight Howard--Orlando Magic
Wins Produced: 22.3
Value: $38 million
Salary: $15.2 million
A step ahead of Camby, Howard topped the NBA in both rebounding and blocked
shots, while also scoring 18.3 points per game on 61% shooting.
No. 8: David Lee--New York Knicks
Wins Produced: 15.5
Value: $26.5 million
Salary: $7 million
The Knicks' up-tempo style probably inflated Lee's numbers (20.2 points; 11.7
rebounds), but he was still durable and efficient, shooting 55% from the
floor while missing just one game. The salary-cap-slashing Knicks let him
walk to Golden State this year.
No. 9: Lamar Odom--Los Angeles Lakers
Wins Produced: 14.6
Value: $25 million
Salary: $7.5 million
Odom's efficiency numbers (11 points, 9.8 rebounds, few turnovers) show he
was just as important a cog for the champion Lakers as Kobe Bryant last year,
for about one-third the cost.
No. 10: Al Horford--Atlanta Hawks
Wins Produced: 12.7
Value: $21.8 million
Salary: $4.3 million
Taken right after Durant in the 2007 draft, Horford has come through as a
scorer and rebounder who consistently shoots better than 50% from the floor.
A recent extension will boost his annual pay to $12 million beginning next
season.
