DIME'S TAKE: Another "best player available" pick, and definitely the right
one. How good is Nick Young? Put it this way: the Celtics flew him to Boston
yesterday for a workout in case they wanted to take him at #5. Buckets,
buckets, buckets. All day long.

SCHRAGER ON THE SCENE: Good for Nick Young. Off to Washington he goes where
he can lose three point shootouts to Gilbert Arenas during practice and show
up on YouTube. The Washington Post contingent seems happy. I'm a big Nick
Young fan, but am almost more excited for the Trojans next year. O.J. Mayo is
insane. Not as insane as Gilbert Arenas but somewhere up there, nonetheless.

CBS Sportsline：
Washington ignored an obvious area of need because it felt Young was too good
to pass up. I rarely agree with these type of moves, but have to side with
the Wizards on this one. Young is as good a person as he is a player, and
he's got a chance to have a Monta Ellis-type impact as a rookie.

Draft Express：
The Wizards could be a great spot for a young player to land, with some
immediate playing time available. They go with Nick Young, who should contend
for signficant PT right away. He has developed into a surprisingly
well-rounded player over the past two seasons, and should complement Arenas
well. The question with Young is where does he stick out? Early in his
career, that midrange shot creating ability won't be as valuable.
Nonetheless, you have to think Young is happy with this situation - even if
he did slip a couple of picks.

CNN SI：
They need a center, but with none available team president Ernie Grunfeld had
to go with the best player available. Young is a terrific athlete who can get
to the rim and score, and he should fit in with the high-scoring Wizards. He
also could be insurance in case DeShawn Stevenson departs via free agency.
