Lawrence loaned to League One

Academy defender Henry Lawrence will spend a second season in League One,
having joined MK Dons on loan.

The 20-year-old, who has been with Chelsea since the Under-9 age group,
was with AFC Wimbledon last season where he enjoyed a fruitful year,
playing 32 games despite missing two months due to injury.


Lawrence joins goalkeeper Jamie Cumming as Chelsea players at Stadium MK
this coming campaign. MK Dons made the League One play-offs last season
but missed out on promotion.


Meanwhile, another of our Academy players, Zain Silcott-Duberry, has
signed his first professional contract with Chelsea, committing the
17-year-old forward to the club until at least 2025.
