Ex-Arsenal legend Pires considering move to Leicester

Leicester have made "serious enquiries" about the possibility of signing
Robert Pires, according to the former World Cup-winning winger.

界盃冠軍邊鋒。
The 36-year-old is a free agent after being released by Spanish side
Villarreal and is reported to have told French journalists in South Africa he
is keen to return to England having played for Arsenal between 2000 and 2006.
這名 36 歲、自由轉會身分的球員已被西甲 Villarreal 釋出，且據傳已向在南非的法國
媒體指出自己樂意回到英格蘭踢球(曾效力 Arsenal 2000~2006)

Pires, a member of the France squad that won the World Cup on home soil in
1998, said: "There's a few big English teams chasing me. I'm told Leicester
and Birmingham have made serious enquires.
Pires，曾是1998年在法國贏得世界盃冠軍的法國隊成員，表示：『有一些英格蘭的大型
球隊在追逐我。我得知 Leicester 和 Birmingham 有謹慎打聽我的情形。』
"I still think I can play in the Premier League but the challenge of getting
a team like Leicester promoted is very appealing, especially with maybe two
seasons left in my legs.
『我仍相信自己能踢英超，但加入像 Leicester 這樣剛晉升英冠的球隊更吸引我，特別
是我可能剩下兩季可以踢球了。』
(Leicester 是 08-09 年的英甲冠軍，09-10 年英冠第五名)
"If the right kind of club expresses an interest, I have no problem going
over and doing a pre-season so they can have a closer look at me."
