Edouard Mendy produced six more saves (61) from 81 shots on target faced
than Kepa produced from 102 shots on target faced. The average save
success of GK in top five leagues last season was 68,4% :

據《每日電訊報》報導，切爾西預計會花費1800萬英鎊引進雷恩門將愛德華˙門
迪，而他也是來自於藍軍門神切赫的推薦。


切赫在退役後成為了切爾西技術總監，今夏也是他和恩師洛利松在負責為切爾西
物色一位新的門將。洛利松在切赫效力於雷恩時便開始指導切赫，隨後二人也一起來
到了切爾西，他一步步幫助切赫成為了世界頂級門將。


決定再次從雷恩引進門將只不過是巧合，但是切赫對於最終的決定起到了很重要
的作用，藍軍希望在不花費巨額轉會費的情況下對門將位置進行補強。


對門迪提出比肩切赫的預期是不合適的，但是蘭帕德希望這位28歲的塞內加爾國
門能夠為切爾西在門將位置上提供安全感。門迪身高達到了197cm，很擅長高空球的
處理，同時用腳撲救也是他的特長之一。


儘管上賽季凱帕的表現很掙扎，但是他仍然會留在藍軍與門迪展開競爭。而除了
門迪以外，蘭帕德還想引進一位防守型中場，西漢姆聯新星賴斯則是他的首選目標。

Chelsea are in advanced talks and really 'confident' to sign Edouard Mendy
as new goalkeeper from Rennes [as per @JacobSteinberg]. The agreement is
going to be completed on next days. Declan Rice still in the list as next
target too.

Today negotiations on between Chelsea and Rennes for Mendy. They are very
close. Agreement to be reached around €20M. The deal is almost done.

Edouard Mendy is the first choice for Petr Cech and will be the new
goalkeeper for CFC.
