Cavs' All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving was held out of practice Saturday
after reaggravating a left knee injury in Thursday's closeout Game 6 against
the Chicago Bulls.

An MRI on Monday revealed tendinitis in Irving's knee. Irving has also been
battling a right foot strain suffered in Game 2 of the first-round series
against the Boston Celtics.

Cavs coach David Blatt said Irving saw the doctors again Friday. Blatt
couldn't give a definitive assessment of Irving's status for Wednesday's Game
1 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Hawks in Atlanta, but said the
Cavs "hope" he can play.
"He going through a lot of treatment and we’re monitoring and just hoping
that he progresses from here until game time," Blatt said.
The Cavs are off Sunday, although some players may come to Cleveland Clinic
Courts to work out.

said of Irving. "We’re very much on top of this obviously and Ky is doing
everything he possibly can to get well."

With 9:47 left in the second quarter against the Bulls, Irving stepped on
teammate Tristan Thompson's foot, wrenching the knee. Irving hobbled off the
court and was helped to the locker room.
After Irving had the knee re-wrapped, the Cavs said his return was probable.
He was later downgraded to doubtful and did not get back in the game, playing
just 12 minutes.


對戰公牛那時第二節還剩下9分47秒, Irving踩到隊友Tristan Thompson的腳, 進而扭傷

“A week of treatment and it all goes down on one play,” Irving said
Thursday. “I stepped on Tristan’s foot and my knee buckled. There goes all
our treatment out the window in a matter of a play. Just happy we got this
win.”
