伊藤竜馬與張帥取得澳網外卡 - 亞網 Tennis

伊藤竜馬和張帥拿下澳網給予亞洲選手的單打外卡。
自從前幾年的亞錦賽取消後，
外卡都是給予沒能直接晉級正賽中排名最高的亞洲球員，
但今年好像情況有變。

Shuai Zhang and Tatsuma Ito have been handed the Asian wildcards for the
forthcoming Australian Open.

China's Shuai is currently ranked 126th in the world and will be making her
second appearance at Melbourne Park, having lost in round one last season.

Ito, of Japan, is the world number 122 and has not played in the Australian
Open before.

The tournament declares itself 'the Grand Slam of Asia Pacific' and under
that banner awards two wildcards each year to Asian players.

Two further wildcards into the women's draw are still to be announced, while
one remains for the men's field.
