Seibu Lions to accept Nakajima bid on Dec. 7

According to Patrick Newman's NPB Tracker, the Seibu Lions will accept and
announce the winning posting bid for shortstop Hiroyuki Nakajima on December 7.

It's still not clear which team made the winning bid, though Mets manager
Terry Collins did hint Monday that his team had interest. The Giants and
Brewers have been ruled out. Nakajima, 29, batted .297 with 16 home runs,
100 RBI and 21 stolen bases this past year in Japan's top pro league.

My first three guesses would the Mets, the A’s, and the Rockies. But I’m not
really up on the infield needs of most of MLB, so those really are random
guesses.
