Ving跟時態的問題 - 籃球

如果今天要說,你可以來我家,吃些好吃的東西
You can come to my place,
逗點之後要加的是 eating something delicious嗎?
是的話為什麼是要用現在進行式呢?
助動詞can 後面要保留原型我知道,但是同一個句子裡面,如果像這樣子被逗點分開,那逗點之後的動詞要用什麼型態呢?
另一個問題也很類似,如果句子是你可以吃東西聽音樂看電影打籃球等等
You can eat something good,
後面應該要加 ,listening to the music, watching the movie, playing the basketball.
還是 , listen to the music, watch the movie, play the basketball.
快被這些ing的問題搞瘋了
希望有大大可以幫我解惑!!

以您所舉的例句
應該要加原型動詞才對
句子裡有4件事
1.eat something good
2.listen to music(除非限定只能聽某些音樂不然如是泛指聽音樂一事音樂不必加the)
3.watch movies(用複數比較好也不必限定)
4.play basketball(球類運動不必加the)
可以看作本來是獨立的4個句子表達獨立的4件事
You can eat something good.
You can listen to music.
You can watch movies.
You can play basketball.
4個句子合在一起時
因為都有You can兩字
因此如同數學的公因數一樣
可以提出來
不必一直重複使用
所以句子變成
You can eat something good,listen to music,watch movies,and play basketball.
至於搞混您的ing
我想大概是指分詞修飾吧
比如
I lain on the bed.
I watched TV.
這2個句子合起來
變成
I lain on the bed and I watched TV.
因為I 重複了
>>>I lain on the bed and watched TV.
句子到此其實可以了(I不去掉也沒人說不可只是這樣的英文很低路而已)
但這句與您所舉例句不同之處在於
您句子的4件事是獨立的
而這個句子的2件事是有因果關係的
躺在床上是為了看電視
所以在英文上
可以把第二動作(看電視)變分詞
也就是加上ing
句子變成
I lain on the bed watching TV.
當然也可以用不定詞to
>>>I lain on the bed to watch TV.
不過沒有使用分詞修飾的漂亮
而您的例句中的事沒有因果
不可用分詞構句

一.
題目: 你可以來我家,吃些好吃的東西。
答案: You can come to my place, eating something delicious.
正解: 原句是You can come to my place, and (you can) eat something delicious.經分詞構句化簡後得到上面的答案第一步驟是將對等連接詞and刪掉,保留主要子句並把從屬子句的主動動詞eat改成分詞形式eating;第二步驟則是刪除從屬子句的主詞you,"主詞相同"才能刪。
上面某位的例子有些錯誤,應是I lie on the bed watching TV. 通常一個句子不會有兩個動詞,動詞1是lie,動詞2是watch,因為兩個動詞是"同時"發生,是指我躺在床上邊看電視,所以動詞2要變成分詞watching。
二.
題目: 你可以吃東西、聽音樂、看電影、打籃球。
答案: You can eat something good, listen to the music, watch the movie and play the basketball.
正解:原句是You can eat something good, and (you can) listen to the music, and (you can) watch the movie, and (you can) play the basketball.因為有助動詞can所以後面的動詞都是原形沒問題,但通常這類的句子,對等連接詞and只要放在最後一項的前面來串連整個句子就好,不需要每個逗號後面都要加,且最後一段不需打逗點,直接放上and即可。
**以上都是指沒有例外的基本狀況,其他有些句子會因情況不同而改變,但這又是另一回事,語言是活的,所以會有許多用法,且外國人常常省略這個亂加那個,除非是已經確立不變的文法,才不會有變數,否則即使英文已經到達頂尖,也無法有百分之百的把握**

"你可以來我家,吃些好吃的東西"
這一句在比較正式的場合應該譯成"You can come to my place, and eat something delicious"
但假如是一般場合的口語溝通, 可以說"You can come to my place, eating something delicious."

如果句子是 "你可以吃東西聽音樂看電影打籃球等等"
在比較正式的場合應該譯成"You can eat something, listen to the music, watch the movie, play the basketball, and the like."
若是一般場合的口語溝通, 則可以說"You can eat something, listening to the music, watching the movie, playing the basketball, you name it."
其實原理並不複雜, 因為口語中隨時可以出現名詞片語, 代替完整句子
以上一句為例, 若分拆成
1. You can eat something.
2.Listening to the music.
3.Watching the movie.
4.Playing the basketball.
5.You name it. (1至5一口氣讀出來, 發音跟上面那一句沒有分別)
2 至 4 都是noun phrase, 由於是口語, 隨时可以出現這類型的表達法.

若單以"Eating something.."這句來說，eating並不是"進行式"喔，是屬"祈使句"。(為放在句首、以動詞為開頭的單字，後接名詞)
所以你知道的助動詞"can" + 動詞原形，這文法是沒錯的。
所以在第二個問題，就很清楚囉，就是listen to the music...(都是動詞原形)
