Tim Collins out for the season after Tommy John surgery

Royals left-hander Tim Collins underwent Tommy John elbow surgery Wednesday
and will miss the entire season.

Collins missed time with elbow problems last season and exited his spring
training debut with elbow tightness, which an MRI exam showed to be from
ligament damage.
