Ramirez is now 0-3 on the road, with a 13.72 ERA, compared to a 5-0 record
and 2.27 ERA in five starts at Safeco Field.

"We have talked about this, and I don't know what to say," manager John
McLaren said. "He is comfortable at home, and I don't know if it's the big

Ramirez insists the home-road difference is "nothing more than a coincidence."

McLaren said he thought Ramirez "Threw OK at times, and his velocity was
pretty good. But he made two bad pitches in that [fifth] inning and it was
five runs."
