Arsenal defender Sebastien Squillaci insists he has his best years ahead of
him following his arrival at the Emirates.
Arsenal 後防 Sebastien Squillaci 堅信自己還會有更好的表現等著他，在他來到
Emirates 之後。

The 30-year-old centre-half secured a move to the Gunners for ￡6million from
Sevilla this summer and has made three appearances for the club so far.
現年 30歲的中後衛，今夏以￡6m從 Sevilla 轉會到 槍手，目前代表球會上場三次。

Despite his age the French defender believes he can still improve as he
continues to adapt to life in the Premier League and is relishing the changes
he will have to make as a player.
儘管年紀有點大，這名法國籍後衛相信，在適應英超的生活同時，自己仍有進步的空間，
也很享受自己身為球員必須做出的改變。

He said: "I have my best years ahead of me. I had a nasty ankle injury in the
second half of last season, but I am feeling really well, physically and
mentally now.

我現在的感覺很好，在心理和生理上也是。』

"I look old here in the dressing room at 30 with all those young players, but
I am ready and motivated to do well.

"You can always improve and there are lots of aspects of my game I need to
work on - being more physical and more solid, reading the game better,
quicker play with the ball. I need to adapt in the new league as well.

牢靠的防守，更好地閱讀比賽動向，更靈活的帶、傳球。我也必須適應這新的聯盟。』

"I am a proper defender, tough on my opponent, good in the air. With the ball,
I always try to play simple, good passing.

"I have scored a few headers on set-pieces, so I can help there too."

Squillaci is expected to line up for Arsenal when West Brom travel to North
London in the league on Saturday.

With Thomas Vermaelen still out with an Achilles injury, the former Monaco
man is set to partner Laurent Koscielny in the heart of defence once more.

Squillaci admits that he is still learning the English game, but says he is
loving the pace and physical style of play.

"I knew what English football was like from playing against Manchester
United, Liverpool and Chelsea in the Champions League through the years," he
added.

"However it was very different to playing against Blackburn and Bolton.
