Sisters dominate in Wenshan

第二年在文山舉辦的ITF職業賽事，今年由來自中華台北的謝氏姊妹淑薇與淑映主宰。
WENSHAN, CHINA: For the second year running the ITF Pro Circuit came to
Wenshan for a tournament that would be dominated by Chinese Taipei sisters Su
Wei and Shu Ying Hsieh.

WTA排名前百的姐姐謝淑薇在單打比賽名列頭號種子，並以亮眼狀態為她的奧運資格努力。
Elder sister and WTA Top 100 ranked player Su Wei was the top seed in the
singles event and was in scintillating form as she makes a late push for
eligibility for consideration for her nation’s Olympic squad.

淑薇橫掃眾多後起之秀、直落盤數贏得她第21座ITF職業賽事冠軍，其中分別在八強60 60
、四強62 60！這站冠軍也反映在04/16公布的排名上，上升到生涯新高69位。
Hsieh swept aside all-comers in straight sets in her run to a 21st ITF Pro
Circuit singles title including wins of 60 60 and 62 60 in the quarterfinals
and semifinals respectively! Her title winning success here also saw her
elevated to a new career high WTA singles ranking of 69 in the April 16th
rankings list.

在單打奪冠前兩天，她也和妹妹淑映參與雙打決賽。名列四號種子的姊妹檔繼07年末首度
搭檔就進決賽後一盤未失再晉決賽，她們在決賽遭遇中國第三種子劉婉婷/徐一璠。
Two days prior to this singles triumph she was involved in the doubles final,
playing alongside her younger sister Shu Ying.
The sisters, as fourth seeds, reached the final, the second final they had
featured in together since making the final of their first ITF Pro Circuit
tournament back in late 2007, without loss of a set and in the title match
took on Chinese third seeds Wan-Ting Liu & Yi-Fan Xu.

經歷11次搭檔，謝氏姐妹以63 62舉起搭檔首座冠軍，這是26歲的淑薇ITF雙打第20冠；
但對18歲的妹妹淑映而言，這第一座職業冠軍是她職業生涯最具里程碑意義的時刻。
A 63 62 triumph for the Hsieh sisters brought them a first title together at
the eleventh attempt on the ITF Pro Circuit. For 26-year-old Su Wei this was
a twentieth ITF Pro Circuit doubles title but for her elated younger sister
Shu Ying, 18, this was a landmark moment in her career as it was her first
ever pro title.
