Czech star keen to hold down starting role and score more goals

Tomas Rosicky is targeting a regular role at Arsenal, but concedes that he
needs to improve his strike rate.

Having been troubled by injury over recent years, the Czech playmaker has
seen others overtake him in Arsene Wenger's plans.
在過去幾年來飽受傷病困擾，捷克籍的組織球員常常看著其他球員代替他上場。
He has been involved in all but three of the Gunners' fixtures this term,
with lengthy run-outs awarded to him when selected.
他參與了大部分的賽事，卻只有三次先發，而其他場次都是替補上場為主。
However, Rosicky is determined to become irreplaceable and hopes he can soon
become one of the first names on the team sheet.

"I would like to play more," he told iDnes.cz.

"I could imagine playing more even though I have been involved in a lot of
fixtures. At the moment I am in the starting XI, then I come on as a
substitute and then again in the starting line-up.

，接著我又成了替補球員，然後又回到先發名單之列。』
"I want to play in the big games - Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City -
because in those games I have only come on as a sub."

賽事我都只能以替補上場。』
Rosicky is aware, though, that he needs to start finding the back of the net
if he is to convince Wenger that he is worthy of a place.
Rosicky 也知道自己需要找到進球的能力，若是想要向 教授 證明自己是值得的。
"I must be realistic because the players I replace score goals," he said.
『我必須在表現上力求務實，因為被換下而和我交換的球員，都能進球』他說。
"I have not scored in four months, so I can't be that surprised.
『我已經有四個月沒有進球了，所以也不意外自己不常在先發之列。』
"At the moment I am half-satisfied. My performances are okay and I am
healthy, but the goals worry me. I have a bad record."
『此時我覺得若有所缺，我的戰術執行力還算不賴，而且我也保持健康狀態，唯獨進球
這事讓我覺得不夠好，甚至感覺拿到不及格的記錄。』

Rosicky is also convinced that Arsenal can challenge for the Premier League
title this season, with just two points separating them from league leaders
Chelsea.
Rosicky 也堅信，Arsenal 足以拚下本賽季的英超冠軍，且目前和榜首 Chelsea 僅兩分之
差。
"I think we have not done badly at all," he said.
『我想，我們踢得還不算差，』他表示。
"It is obvious that the league is very tight, the tightest it has been in my
five years at Arsenal. Every single game is extremely difficult.
『這也顯示英超競爭相當激烈，甚至是我在 Arsenal 五年來最競爭的一次了。每場賽事
都格外艱辛。』
"We wanted to be near the top, that is always our aim."
