Niederbuchsiten, 12 July 2006 – JURA, the Swiss innovation leader in fully
automatic household coffee machines and Roger Federer, the world’s #1 ranked
tennis player and reigning Wimbledon, US Open and Australian Open Champion,
have entered into a partnership. The Swiss eight-time Grand Slam Winner will
represent JURA as an Ambassador both in Switzerland and internationally and
spread the message of their common values across the world: performance,
precision, prestige and passion for excellence.

JURA General Manager, Emanuel Probst, said: “Roger Federer stands for the
same qualities as JURA. We share authentic Swissness and we look forward to a
long-term partnership. Obviously, Roger Federer is one of the greatest tennis
players of all time, but what is equally impressive is his relaxed and genuine
personality.” JURA is convinced that this step will further strengthen their
international brand profile and fill it with emotions. Roger Federer, too, is
looking forward to the cooperation: “JURA and I grew up in Switzerland and
conquered the world from there. Their high-quality espresso and coffee machines
provide coffee connoisseurs all over the world with enthusiasm. I myself am
one of them.“

Starting in the Fall of 2006, Federer will be featured in the new JURA image
campaign. In addition, he will personally attend the JURAworld of Coffee event
at the company Headquarters in Niederbuchsiten/Solothurn on the occasion of
its VIP opening at the end of September.
