Red Sox sign Australian prospect

LHP Daniel McGrath of Australia has signed with the Red Sox according to his
team there, the Doncaster Dragons.
McGrath played for Australia in the recent 18-and-under Oceania
championships, a precursor to the world championship tournament in the
summer. He struck out nine over five innings in a victory against New Zealand.
McGrath, 17, is 6-foot-3 and is said to have a good fastball.
Doncaster put the news on Twitter. We saw it when WEEI.com picked it up and
